SERVICES

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Here at Fresh Start Family Services we implement an individualized person-centered approach to delivering therapeutic services to treat the mental health of each client we serve by incorporating evidence-based substance use treatment services. Comprehensive Care Coordination between tribal services, primary care physicians  

ADDICTION TREATMENT

We provide individual and group counseling to help address the emotional and behavioral aspects of addiction. Our caring counselors assists members in the processing difficult feelings, giving members a greater understanding of why they may have begun using substances. Counseling can also help members to explore and implement healthy coping skills and strategies to avoid future use. 

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

We offer Individual Counseling services as it provides members with a focused therapeutic environment between both member and counselor allowing for a more therapeutic relationship, working at the members own pace, and work on individual coping techniques.




GROUP COUNSELING

 Our Group Counseling allows for sharing thoughts and experiences with similar peers and can help with the healing and recovery process. The benefits of group therapy include broadened therapeutic alliance, modeling, developing connections.  

INPATIENT RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Our in-patient residential services are for members aged 18+ that have a substance use disorder or mental health diagnosis that is seeking more intensive treatment services offered at one of our community partner agencies within the Valley.

VOCATIONAL SERVICES

Vocational services include skill-building, career exploration, resume development, interview skills, supported volunteering, job preparation, employment support, and employment services. 


CASE MANAGEMENT

Our Case Managers provide a variety of services to meet members’ needs, individualized to assist them in their recovery. Some of the services include home visits, hospital visits, jail visits, referrals and coordination of care services to other providers in the community for additional treatment or socialization, development of treatment goals, planning to help in the event of a crisis situation, coordinating with other treatment providers, and providing ongoing support to members.

COURT DIVERSION

We offer programming for individuals who have been court-ordered to receive DUI, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Anger Management or Parenting treatment.

PEER SERVICES

Our Peer Support services program provides our members with individual and group support. Topics of support may include support regarding lived experiences such as substance use and behavioral health. Peer services complement the clinical support offered by psychiatry, counseling, and case management. 

HOMELESS OUTREACH

Transportation:

When needed, complementary transportation is provided to ensure our clients take full advantage of services rendered to include bus cards.

Grooming & Personal Care:

When available, we provide personal grooming kits that include, but are not limited to: soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and feminine products.

Clothing Closet:

We provide clothing for current participants, based on availability.
